Shades
A Spectrum of Shades for Natural Beauty
Palfique LX5 boasts of an impressive eleven (11) syringe shade portfolio*, categorized into three groups:
Enamel Shades:
- A1, A2, A3, A3.5: These shades are ideal for replicating the natural color and translucency of enamel. Offers natural-looking translucency.
Dentin Shades:
- OPA2 (Opaquer A2): It is primarily used for masking and creating a bright base (think CLASS III/IV and CLASS 1&2. It’s not ideal for situations where you want to preserve the natural translucency of the tooth.
- OPALESCENT SHADES (OA1, OA2, OA3): Its balance of opacity and translucency (opalescence) makes it more versatile. It can be used for masking mild to moderate discoloration, restoring teeth with a naturally warm shade, and creating a slightly warm base for anterior restorations while still allowing some natural light to shine through. These are A-shades with slight opacity.
Bleach Shade:
- NEW SNOWHITE (SW): SW is the lightest shade available in the Palfique LX5 range, offering a super white hue ideal for achieving a dramatically brighter smile. It is also highly opaque. It is perfect for young patients or those seeking a significantly whiter esthetic.
- BLEACH WHITE (BW): This shade is formulated for bleached teeth, offering a brighter and more luminous appearance.
- WHITE ENAMEL (WE): This shade offers a lighter sdhade compared to A1 but not as bright as the BW.
